“It was the honor of a lifetime to meet President Trump who put America first and was the best friend law enforcement has ever had in the Oval Office. With the woke left attacking patriots, veterans and law enforcement across America, I believe my lifetime of experience as a police officer has never been more needed. I intend to fight against the cancel culture mentality that grips our country today.”

About Police Officer John
John George is a career law enforcement police officer and long-time president of the Oklahoma City Fraternal Order of Police.
John has served with the Oklahoma City Police Department since 1991, the majority of his career as a detective where he investigated and solved sex crimes and homicides. He also has been a patrol officer, worked several years in narcotics, and was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force and the U.S. Marshals.
His wife, Audrea, is also an Oklahoma City police officer. The couple have two daughters in college.
Since 2012, John has been elected again and again by his peers to serve as Oklahoma City FOP president. He is the Oklahoma FOP National Trustee, representing more than 6,000 police officers across Oklahoma on the National FOP Board of Trustees.
John served five years in the Oklahoma National Guard with the rank of second lieutenant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from East Central University in Ada.
In his spare time, John competes in bird dog trials and raises German shorthair pointers, many of which have earned multiple championships.
“For me, serving in the Legislature will never just be a job, it will always be personal. My wife is a police officer. I have worked alongside and personally know many of the law enforcement police officers, veterans and first responders walking the Thin Blue Line. I also know too many people who have been victims of crime. Those are faces you never forget, and it would be my privilege to fight for them and their families at the state Capitol.”
